Good morning, Here’s a dose of inspiration for the week!

 Pray, Encourage, Strengthen, Love

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:12-14

This morning I heard the familiar “tone” I have assigned to my “Snap chat” app. It was my daughter sending me a picture of herself. She wanted to share with me the start to her work day.  She began a chat with me and said “mom I start my day by listening to Fred Hammond just like you would do.”  That made my heart fill with joy as some days when she calls or sends a text I’m not quite sure which child I will get! Nevertheless, since she was a kid I’ve always tried to find ways to encourage, show love, be supportive, and build her faith even when times warranted discipline; she is not perfect nor are we. But today I am grateful to God for his faithfulness to see the fruit of prayers prayed, the words spoken and the seeds deposited are active in her life.

As parents we don’t always know what God has in store for our children or those we are praying for. Parenting is hard work, marriage, relationships, friendships are hard work!  God has assigned some of us people who need our love, support and prayers.

Do not give up praying for those who God has placed in your life you never know what seed your are depositing. This doesn’t mean looking at anyone’s faults but looking past them seeing the good!

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for those you have placed in our lives. Thank you for our children, parents, siblings, friends and spouses and thank you that you have given us an opportunity to build up someone’s faith and to “train up” our children. Father we may not always know what those around us are going through, but you know.  Help us to be sensitive to see others with your eyes. Teach us to be kind to one another, bearing with one another and forgiving one another.  Lord allow us to be the vessel to plant a seed for someone’s joy today. In Jesus Name; Amen!

Be blessed this week show love, encourage someone, be a blessing It’s not always easy, but you can do it!
