Fruit Bearer

But you did not choose Me; but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and your fruit should remain. John 15:16a

What mark do you leave on others? Jesus chose the disciples to be influencer’s for the Kingdom. The disciples were not perfect; they were ordinary imperfect men. But Jesus saw something in them that they did not see in themselves. Little did they know that they would be carrying out a greater mission the making of more disciples.  The disciples were producing fruit.

God has given each of us an assignment that will influence others.  We are fruit producers. Are you producing good fruit? Our influence can impact lives for good or not so good. What can you deposit into someone’s life that they can carry forward to produce more fruit for the good of God’s kingdom?

Prayer: Dear Lord, I want to be a fruit producer! You have created me for a purpose. Help me to understand that purpose and how it can help impact others for the good.  Continue to direct my steps; I am thankful for the opportunities you place in my path.  In Jesus Name-Amen!

Have a blessed week!
