Good morning, here is your dose of inspiration for the week.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

In the book of Matthew (chapter 14) we find the story where Jesus fed the five thousand with five loaves of bread and two fish.  The disciples wanted to send the multitudes away to buy food in the village.  Jesus said; “they do not need to go away, you give them something to eat.” (Matthew 14:16) The disciples told Jesus “we only have five loaves and two fish.” (Matthew 14:17) I can imagine this conversation was probably quite interesting!  Jesus instructed the disciples to bring the loaves and fish to Him.  The scripture goes on to say that Jesus took the loaves looked up to heaven and blessed it, broke and gave to the disciples to feed the multitudes.  The little they had was multiplied and fed many.

God can take what little you have and multiply it.  You may think that your resources, gift and or talents are not enough to accomplish whatever is before you, but God has a way of taking our little and expanding it to be used for His glory. God’s resources are not limited, we just need to have the confidence and faith in our ability to accomplish what God has entrusted us to do. This requires obedience, sacrifice and putting into action what God has instructed you to do.  I’m sure the disciples were thinking what are we going to do with five loaves and two fish?  They had a limited view of God’s ability to provide.

What are you going to do with your five loaves and two fish?  He will supply the need when we look to heaven and trust the Source!

Have a blessed week!
