Here is your dose of inspiration for the week…
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalm 18:14
Our words can reflect what we carry in our hearts!
What we spend time taking in or meditating on will reflect in our conversations and how we address others. Words spoken from the heart can affect situations in a positive or negative light. As believers we are to feed our soul with God’s Word and meditate on it day and night, so that we can give testimony of the Lord’s goodness and be salt and light in the earth.
David says in Psalm 18: 7-8~The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the statues of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The Word in our hearts, converts our soul, brings wisdom, rejoices the heart and opens our eyes to truth. The Word in our hearts also keeps us from meditating on wrong thoughts that do no produce good fruit.
This week allow the Holy Spirit to speak to the areas that have taken up room in our heart and thought life and ask for a release in those areas that are not pleasing to God.
Lord, I invite the Holy Spirit to touch my heart and mind in areas that I’ve been wounded and bruised and have allowed my thoughts to go unchecked. Give me wisdom and understanding and refresh my soul. In Jesus Name-Amen.
Have a blessed week.
