There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Ecclesiastes 3:1

The season is changing, summer has begun its descent and fall is making its arrival.  The morning light comes later, and the evening light becomes shorter. Change and transition in seasons may not always be clear.  Weather patterns are no longer a good indicator of a changed season, but atmosphere indicates otherwise.

Do you recognize your season of change? There’s a shift occurring can you sense it? Oftentimes, we cannot move forward because we’re holding on to a past season, like hanging on to summer by wearing summer clothing when it’s beginning to rain.  Rain brings refreshing and a washing away of the dust and debris that has built up over the summer months. We need the rain and refreshing of the Lord to wash away old thought processes, methods that are no longer useful or effective, relationships, jobs, careers etc. and any other remnants that hold us back from experiencing Gods best for us.

What I love about the fall, is that it brings a new type of refreshing. It’s a time to refocus on the Lord’s plans for my life. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

The season is changing, do you recognize your season of change?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for seasons of change.  You are the orchestrator of change.  Help me to be aware and in step of where you are leading me in this season.  Lord-what am I holding onto that keeps me stalled? Show me where and what I need to put off and let go of that prevents me from moving forward.  I welcome your guidance today.  In Jesus Name ~Amen!

Have a blessed week.
