And My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Late one afternoon I pulled into my carport taking great care to back into my space. What I didn’t notice was a plastic trash bag was laying against the wall of the carport.  I thought oh great, someone left their trash in my space or it was blown into my space by the wind.  I dashed in to prepare and grab a few things for my evening out.  When I got to my car the trash bag was still there. I hesitantly picked it up thankfully it was empty.  Not having time to run over to the dumpster to discard it I placed it in the trunk of my car. Later that evening while assisting with the clean up of the event I attended, I volunteered to take some of the trash and recycling with me to place in my dumpster.  I put the items in a paper bag and packed them in my car.  It was rainy and dark when I arrived home. I began thinking how to carry the recycling to the dumpster not wanting to leave it in my car overnight. Then I remembered the trash bag! The thing that I had been annoyed with was the thing that I needed later that night. I said, “Lord you knew that this very trash bag would come in handy!”  We often think of God’s provision coming to us in big ways, but His blessings to us can come in many forms.  He cares about the very details of our lives and knows exactly what we need and what we will need.  In this Christmas season, trust the Lord’s provision.  All the blessings you need may be right in front of you or it can come from the least likely source.

Have a blessed week!
