Good morning, the word for today when you feel like you can’t move forward, trust in the one who gives us strength.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord the creator of the ends of the earth, never faints nor is weary, His understanding is unsearchable.  Isaiah 40:28

The mountain of circumstances we experience can become overwhelming. We are reminded in this passage of scripture that God never faints nor is weary He doesn’t become tired. The Lord sits on His throne and He knows the pains, stresses, the pressures, heartaches and the struggles in our lives. Call upon Him even when you don’t feel like it, press through, don’t give up, He’s a personal God, there to give you strength and to empower you. His power and ability are far greater than ours, trust Him!

He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.Isaiah 40:29-30

Prayer: Father God, thank you that you are all-knowing, and you feel what we feel, and you see everything that we go through. Nothing is hidden from your sight concerning my life.  Father God, I confess that I cannot make it through on my own strength. I need your supernatural strength and power. Encourage my heart today. In Jesus Name~Amen!

Trust in God, His grace is sufficient in our times weakness.

Have a blessed week.

Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications! The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him  Psalm 28:6-7

When we were young and went to church with our grandparents, my grandmother would get up and testify during testimony time.  As a kid didn’t always understand all that was going on.  But she would get up and give her testimony of how the Lord kept her, healed her and saved her soul.  One of the things she always would say was pray about everything and give thanks to God for waking you up in the morning-Amen!

I am thankful for those early seeds planted.  I am thankful that the Lord is gracious to hear me when I pray.  He gives me strength and is my protector and I can have confidence in going to Him with my needs, my gripes, my joys and my pains and even my shortcomings; He is there, He is my help!

When faced with challenges, seek the Lord only He can satisfy and give you peace deep down within your soul.  Rejoice, give thanks and praise His Name, this is where you will find freedom and victory He desires our worship.

As you go through the week, take time to give thanks when you awake, seek the Lord and praise His name!

Blessings!

Here is your dose of inspiration for the day.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

I Peter 2:9

You have value! Just about everyone goes through a time in their life feeling not valued, acknowledged, loved or treasured. It’s as if no one else can see your worth. The good news is Jesus see’s your worth enough so that He sacrificed His life so that you could experience a greater love and freedom like no other.

There is not a single thing that we experience in this life that the Lord God Almighty does not know about.  He can see and feel all-of our hurts, pains, ups and our downs. He also see’s the desires of our heart as well as the intent of our hearts whether good or bad.

Today, know that you are a “Kings Kid” and He has called you out of darkness into something marvelous.  You have an important role to play in the kingdom and to show other’s around you that they also are loved and have worth.  Striving to listen and seek to understand one another is taking the time to find value in someone else’s story; misinterpretation of someone’s life journey can lead to false judgement.  For we all have fallen short but have been redeemed through a gracious savior and we are His special, chosen people.

If you have not had the opportunity to make Jesus part of your journey, He’s longing to hear from you. Making Christ the certain of your life is the beginning of finding true value, worth and fulfillment.  Will you trust Him today with your insecurities, worthlessness, loneliness, bitterness, unforgiveness, things that make you feel less than whole? Allow the Lord that space in your life. He’s able to do more than we can every expect or imagine.  You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood!

Have a blessed week!

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Ecclesiastes 3:1

The season is changing, summer has begun its descent and fall is making its arrival.  The morning light comes later, and the evening light becomes shorter. Change and transition in seasons may not always be clear.  Weather patterns are no longer a good indicator of a changed season, but atmosphere indicates otherwise.

Do you recognize your season of change? There’s a shift occurring can you sense it? Oftentimes, we cannot move forward because we’re holding on to a past season, like hanging on to summer by wearing summer clothing when it’s beginning to rain.  Rain brings refreshing and a washing away of the dust and debris that has built up over the summer months. We need the rain and refreshing of the Lord to wash away old thought processes, methods that are no longer useful or effective, relationships, jobs, careers etc. and any other remnants that hold us back from experiencing Gods best for us.

What I love about the fall, is that it brings a new type of refreshing. It’s a time to refocus on the Lord’s plans for my life. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

The season is changing, do you recognize your season of change?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for seasons of change.  You are the orchestrator of change.  Help me to be aware and in step of where you are leading me in this season.  Lord-what am I holding onto that keeps me stalled? Show me where and what I need to put off and let go of that prevents me from moving forward.  I welcome your guidance today.  In Jesus Name ~Amen!

Have a blessed week.

For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of timidity (fear) but power and love and discipline.

II Timothy 1:6-7

During a church service, the pastor speaking asked the question “is Jesus enough?” He began to share about our purpose on the earth and that we were made for Jesus and not just for our own promotion. There were several more points he made during his exhortation to the congregation.  But as I was listening to his message, the Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart saying “there are many people sitting on their gifts. God the Father has given so many gifts that are not being used, they are left unopened. They’ve gathered dust some have rusted, some have been placed in a closet and forgotten about. Some gifts you’ve thrown out because you have felt that it is too late and no longer useful, I’m too old, I’ve experienced trauma, gone through heartbreak, hurts and disappointments.  We’ve said but God, how can you use me now? But God, I’m running on empty! But God, no one recognizes me! But God, I’m not ready!”

But GodGod’s gifts and his call are irrevocable they cannot be withdrawn (Romans 11:29.)  God did not give you His gifts so that He can take them back. He gave them to you because He knew that you were uniquely formed and shaped for a particular task to be carried out in this earth. He had you in mind for His Kingdom assignment!  Proverbs 18:16 says A gift does wonders; it will bring you before men of importance. (TLB)

Some of us have sat in the same place for far too long and have gotten comfortable. But in that place of comfort you’ve become stale and dissatisfied.  You see, Jesus is enough for us in every season and His love for us is limitless and He goes above and beyond more than we can ever imagine when we trust Him with what He has entrusted to us.

This is a season of shifting, let’s move forward and begin to unwrap, take out the closet, remove from the shelf all that God has purposed in our lives!

Dear Lord, we are grateful to you for all that you have blessed us with.  You are amazing and you are gracious and merciful to us even in our misfortunes, trials, heartaches, and mistakes.  Dear Lord I ask that you will begin by your Spirit to stir up and awaken once again the gifts that are within us.  Lord let us not be afraid or make excuses in moving forward, stepping out on faith and trusting your lead.  Open doors that are to be opened and shut doors that are to be shut.  In Jesus Name! ~Amen

Have a blessed week!

Good morning, here is your dose of inspiration for the week.

After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. Joshua 1:1-2

It can be very intimidating when God calls our name for a task that seems large. God called Joshua to lead the children of Israel over the Jordan River into the land He was giving them now that Moses was dead.  Joshua was stepping into the shoes of a great leader.  Certainly, God had prepared and equipped Joshua for the new journey he was about to embark on.

Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. Joshua 1:3

New journeys are awaiting many of us. We may be asking ourselves “am I ready to step out and step into the new place the Lord is directing me?”  The only way to know is to yield and be obedient to the Lord’s call.  The Lord may not always give you full details but yielding to His voice in obedience can open doors to new possibilities for our lives.

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Joshua 1:5

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”  Joshua 1:9

The Lord is beckoning us to take the next step toward our purpose in this life. It’s never too late and you’re never too old. Your name is assigned to a plan He has designed for you!  When God calls, will you listen and respond? He will be with you wherever you go.

Prayer: Lord thank you that you see me as I am. You know my doubts and fears, but I know you have called me for such a time as this.  In this season I asked that you direct my steps as I partner with you in the work you’re calling and directing me to impact your kingdom.  In Jesus Name~Amen!  Have a blessed week.

Good morning all, I don’t have much to say today but what’s on my heart is Psalm 37:3-5

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. vs 3

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. vs 4

Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. vs 5

The Lord is our trust.  Feeding on His faithfulness spurs us on to trust Him more. It gives us reason to do good share His goodness with others.

The more we delight in God’s word and walk after Him we’ll want what He wants and desire what He desires for us, to fulfill our purpose in the earth.

Commit our desires and aspirations by praying, seeking and waiting on God to bring clarity and direction.

God is so good to us and our steps are ordered by Him. Take delight in Him and watch Him work on your behalf.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.

Psalm 37:23-24

Have a blessed week.
